At Spikey Cactus we like to keep the "small print" to a minimum. However, there are a few bits of info which you may need to know in advance if you are using some of our services:
Free Website Appraisal Service
The following terms relate to requests for a website appraisal:
- In the interest of fairness, one free website appraisal is available per customer / domain.
- We are happy to perform additional website appraisals, but these will be chargeable. The amount will depend on the site and complexity of the site, and will be agreed with the client prior to the site's review.
- When requesting a website appraisal, you must either be the owner of the site, or be authorised by the site owner to make such requests on behalf of the site.
- Much like an MOT, our website appraisal provides our view of the website at a specific date (the date it was reviewed) and is valid only for that date (this is because any subsequent changes to either the website, or advances in technology may have an effect on the accuracy of the review).
- Spikey Cactus reserve the right not to provide a free website appraisal.
(This will normally only happen if we believe that more than one request is being made for the same site / customer, or if we deem the content to be offensive or inappropriate). We reserve the right to withdraw the Free Website Appraisal Service at any time. - As there are often multiple ways of doing the same thing in a website, the website appraisal results are just our personal view of a website and do not necessarily mean something has been done right or wrong. As a result no work should be initiated solely on the basis of our results.
- Website appraisal results are private and confidential and may not be redistributed, copied or altered without the prior written consent of Spikey Cactus.
